Wishing things were different One of the most damaging thoughts we can have is wishing that things were different to what they are.
One common thought is to deny yourself happiness right now by thinking, "I'll be happy when"..
The irony is that you will never be happy with this thought pattern, because you'll always find something else to wish for in the future.
Your happiness will never come, because it's a habitual way of thinking, rather than a statement of reality.
Today tell yourself that life is ok the way it is, and the only thing that can affect it is your perception and judgement.
